How to Fluff Up your Pampas Grass

How to Fluff Up your Pampas Grass

What's the point in having Pampas Grass if it isn't SO FLUFFY??
We've partnered with Dried Flower Growers in The Netherlands to bring you some of the best quality Pampas Grass in the World. They have over 30 Years of experience in growing and drying Pampas Grass and honestly, it's the fluffiest Pampas you'll find around. (And we know! We have tried HUNDREDS from China to America).
What makes their experience so necessary? Their impeccable insight into judging the weather & growing conditions of their grasses means that they are cut and dried at their optimum size. They are also in such good quality that you'll barely experience any shedding of your Pampas Grass - which, if you've bought Pampas Grass off of the internet before, you'll soon see your home turned into a blizzard of pampas snow.
It was so important to us to find a Pampas Grass that was big, beautiful and hassle free to become the perfect statement for your homes. That being said, even the fluffiest Pampas Grass can still get a little compressed in their boxes over to you. Here are some things you can do to bring some life back into your grasses when you open that box of fluffy happiness;
Please note; this is a completely natural product and some shedding is normal. We're so pleased with the quality & it's minimal shedding, but if you believe that the Pampas you have received has lost too many needles, then please do contact us and we'll be happy to resolve the issue!
  1. Gently shake the pampas grass to loosen the needles. Some shedding here is natural
  2. On a cool, low heat, gently blow dry the stems around 10-20cm away to give the plumes some life.
  3. Pop your Pampas in some natural daylight for 2-3 days, if it's a sunny day they will only need 1-2days. Watch them soak up that sunlight!
  4. Once you're happy with their fluffiness, give them a spritz with hairspray to stop the needles for dropping or drooping!
  5. Step 5) Enjoy your fluffy boho paradise!
Our Pampas Grass is likely to last between 2-3 years. The best way to keep it looking full and fluffy is to keep it away from direct sunlight & water. If you have kiddies around it is also wise to keep it away from little fingers, as too much movement can cause the stems to shed.
If after a few months they need fluffing again, repeat steps 2-5 as set out above!
And it's that easy!!
Let us know how you get on and we can't wait to see your full fluffy pampas pics in your home! Make sure you tag us on Facebook & Instagram - you can find us at @mywimble.
Love,
